Description

Membership of the Tramway and Light Railway Society runs from 1st January to 31st December, and for new members joining after 1 July, a reduced rate is available until the next 1st January renewal date. The full annual rate is applicable after the 1st January.

Membership allows participation in many of the activities of the Society. TLRS members receive a copy of the magazine Tramfare, which is published 6 times a year and has articles on aspects of tramway and light railway modelling, and also articles of general tramway interest from around the world. There are regular features such as “Model Tramway News”, and reports from the various areas.

Note: In view of the increased postage costs in sending issues of Tramfare abroad, a small “non UK address supplement” is applied automatically where appropriate. We regret having to do this but feel we have no choice. We aim to keep this supplement as low as possible.

TLRS Members can attend Area meetings which typically consist of illustrated talks on tramway related matters, given by members; discussions on aspects of modelling; and an opportunity for members to show progress in whatever models or projects they are currently working on.

It is a condition of membership that you agree to abide by the provisions of the Constitution of the Society.
